First make a portmap and then calculate how much the parameters are for the ports. calculate the the width of the exhaustport via the portmap and start by making it 15% higher (i thought it was 15% of the bore but i'm not sure)

Thanks for the information, but what is a port map and how do i make one, is it by placing paper in the barell and drawing the ports on or something like that.
Thanks for your help.

buy the tuning hand guide of graham bell, and read this, it will give you a good starter experience. After this ask again

does anyone know if a minarelli p6 racing aircooled cylinderkit would fit my rv6 and fit in my af1 1992 sintesi frame as at the front it has two downtubes which maybe in the way. Also are 70/80cc p6 aircooled cylinder kits better than 70/80cc rv6 liquid cooled cylinder kits.
Thanks for your help.

I thought the p6 and k6 cylinders fitted onto the rv6 as i have been told that the internals in the p6 gearbox/ bottom end are the same as the rv6. Do the aircooled cylinders rev more also are they better than the watercooled rv cylinders.
Finally do you know where to get a proper 80cc rv cylinder kit from as i am in need of a cylinder kit, i know they race the p6 aircooled so thought it may be better than the rv cylinders.
Thanks for your help.
